After submitting Betbotpro v5 to Betfair earlier this week for initial approval we are awaiting their reply. They do not usually take too long, usually around 5 days.

The software as it stands is still under going testing and there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out so it is not ready for release yet until these can be sorted. Testing as you can imagine takes a long time as there are so many variables in the software we want to make sure it is reliable.

Here is a pic of the software placing live bets.

We hope to be able to release the software soon and we continue to work to get this done as soon as is possible.

  1. have u any idea when u will be up and running

  2. Ian says:

Why don’t you release a beta/test version of the bot. Users could test for small amounts or simulation then feedback to you of any bugs. This would mean significantly more testing and speed things up when betfair get back to you.

      Hi Ian
The first release will be kind of a beta test version anyway, as it is the first api-ng release. But it still has to be in reasonable shape before we can let you play with it. There are some issue still need sorting out.

Crikey , wake up Betfair ! Approve the new version today please !

  8. Ian says:

Can you just give us an update please

  9. John says:

I hope we can see a few surprises in the new release
would be nice to see some new additions in this version
Maybe a hint or two would suppress the masses

    • markscs says:

There will not be any new surprises for a while, we want to get this working first, then we can sort out new features. We do have plans though and we are also updating the old beast 4.2 as so many people seem to like it.

    Hi Mark.
Having used BBPro for several years now and always been impressed with the service and support, I must say that with the current fiasco I can only express extreme disappointment.
We are now mid way through our third month of excuses and unfortunately your Lay Bot is very limited in it’s uses.
I would like a positive answer on when we can expect to again use a service that we have paid for and not more excuses.
What is most disappointing is that it appears all other betting bot providers (Betsender, GHB etc) have managed to succeed with the new API-NG , so the question begs, “Why not BBPro”

    • markscs says:

We are waiting on feedback from betfair Dave, we are also still testing and debugging the software for the first release. We want to get it out to you as quick as we can.

  11. Ian Barnfield says:

After 2 years or research and testing, on Nov 1st last year I started my systems for real. On the 9th Nov I was 278 points up. I can’t wait to start again. Maybe it is time for us to share our winning systems.

    • David says:

what does your system involve, I’d be interested in sharing how best to make profit using the software.

  12. David says:

First we were told at the beginning of November that it will take 3 – 4 weeks for the software to be ready. On the 4th of December you stated that the software was 80% complete. You have since stated that the software will be ready for release on the week of January the 12th, Well today is the 15th and we are still being told that the software is not ready. What i would like to know is 1 Why all the other softwares worked on the new api ng straight away when betfair changed over and bpp still has’nt achieved this? And 2 Can we have an actual honest answer from someone as to when we can start using the software again, This whole process has been an absalute joke, Can someone honestly say that this software will be 100% ready for use again before February?

    • markscs says:

The reasons are well documented David. We are doing our best to get it out to users asap. Currently we are still waiting for Betfair feedback and finishing fixing some bugs in the software. We do not want delays as much as anyone.

  13. david kruse says:

Will we be charged to use the new version?

    • BBP Team says:

If you have the option that had all future updates included then no you will not be charged.

      • Davey says:

So basically us that bought the system are now screwed with a piece of software that does not work because of no fault of our own unless we spend more money on an update?

How much will the update cost?

        • BBP Team says:

          Hi David
No. If you purchased 6 months updates recently we will extend it so you get 6 months from when the new software is released.
